Gregory started Sparks Tax, LLC because he desires to educate middle class families and business owners in the areas of taxation, personal financial planning and business management.  Greg uses a combination of corporate experience, non-profit work and teaching ability to help individuals maximize their talents, highlight strengths and gain as many tools as possible to succeed in their business and personal lives. 

Prior to forming Sparks Tax, for 20 years Gregory excelled in the areas of accounting, business management, sales, and personnel development and training after having worked for Chrysler Corporation, General Motors, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, McDonalds, Little Caesars, TJ Maxx, Burlington Coat Factory, Cambridge Investment Advisors, Wolinski & Company CPAs, Primerica Financial Services, and Comerica Bank.  Greg attended Davenport University where he majored in Accounting and Finance.  Additionally, he studied Accounting and Control at the Center for Banking Education.  Greg has held series 6 and 63 licenses with the National Association of Security Dealers (NASD), and State of Michigan licenses for life insurance, second mortgage and variable annuities. 

In addition to his accounting and business experience, Gregory is an active community leader and maintains affiliations with the National Association of Black Accountants, the Accounting Aid Society, Reap Research Group, Inc., NAACP, Men of Valor, God-made Millionaires, and eMarketing Association.  Greg is passionate about helping his constituents to become well versed in business practices.  Drawing on his diverse work experience in both the private and public sectors, Greg conducts seminars and counsels individuals on a one-to-one basis to help them reach their full professional potential.  Greg also writes articles on taxation, personal financial planning, business management and marketing through exclusive memberships and in the Detroit Native Sun newspaper.
